Hello all our faithful followers. It’s been awhile. We really slacked off this past holiday season, starting with Halloween. It was a holiday filled with great family, wonderful friends, wonderful food and great spirits.
We did finish up 123 Church Street. Cleaned, dusted, polished, cleaned, dusted, polished, etc. etc., etc. We also finished window treatments and did a bit of staging. It’s now been on the market for a week with our favorite realtor and friend, Cindy. She put together a wonderful virtual tour (Go to http://www.steepleview.com/userPage_21_Listings.htm). We have had awesome feedback.
Bert and I have been on our own for the past couple of months, just us and the house. It is going to be hard to let it go. We are very fond of it. It’s been a great experience. We have made friendships that will last forever and received an education from the best this area has to offer.
We know the burning question is; will they do it again? Not for the next "flip" as I think we all know, if you have been following this blog, it’s not about the money. Ok, well, it is a little about the money, but more about the satisfaction of a job well done, a home restored to its former glory, a part of history preserved. And well, it was darn hard work, so we’ll see. One thing we did learn from this whole thing is never say never.
